fellow flight path dwellers, the flight radar website is for you. My son now hears a plane approaching and we dash to check the radar. You can see the plane fly over your place in real time, and check stats like how fast it's going, where it's going, where it came from. Amazing!

blogs we love - kids were here

A few weekends ago I linked to a cute blog called Kids Were Here, but I just have to share it in more detail. If you have children, or have lived with children, you know about the tell-tale trail a child can leave behind (often a path of destruction, but not always). The blog consists of a few different photographers 'documenting details of evidence that kids were here'. Here are some of my faves, I hope they make you smile...

ode to Munster

Oh Munster, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways...
We love the story of the Aussie couple (with three boys of their own) who ended up running an International kids label. We love that Munster make cool threads for kids who dance, skate, climb trees, roll down hills and build forts - for real kids who play and make mess and are sometimes up to no good. Best of all we love that these clothes still hold up after all that use and abuse - quality is everything!

So you can imagine it's happy days here at Shorties, as Munster Summer 13 has started to arrive. Can we just say, it's a stellar collection, and you are going to love it all. Take a peek at what has already hit the racks...
