School Holidays- How to keep them entertained

Well here we are in the final week of the school holidays. It's around about now that the boredom sets in and fresh ideas are needed to keep your little munchkins occupied and entertained. Here at Shorties we have come up with a few ideas that will see you through until school goes back.

Go kite flying!

Why not come in and grab one of our colourful kites and take the kids to Sydney park for some kite flying fun. Climb one of their hills and have a ball watching your kite fly in the open blue sky.

Go Space Hopping

These Australian made bouncing toys are super fun and will bounce you through the school holiday slump! Why not try a space hopper race for some hilarious results!

A Spot of Needlecraft

These Blink sewing kits are a great way to introduce kids to the joys of sewing. They are simple to use and produce stunning results. The kids will be ever so proud of themselves. Did we mention that these kits can be picked up from our half price toy barrel?

Go Scooting

If you've been contemplating getting one of the fantastic mini or maxi micro scooters, now is the perfect time to do it. Take the kids to the awesome Sydney Park bike track for some scooting fun!

Start a band

Why not have a jam session and get the whole family involved. Even if it doesn't sound great it sure will feel it!

Games, Games, Games!

Can't go past good old games really can you? Just new in are these fantastic magnetic travel games. Small and compact they fold up and can be taken anywhere to pull out at any time.
